Déise Day Centre is a "home away from home" for people aged 65 years and over.
We provide a safe environment where you can meet and join in social and therapeutic activities. 
​We can provide transport by bus. We pick up and drop off from your home, Monday to Friday. 

Our rescources ;

  • A large modern purpose built building on ground floor level.
  • A building for the exclusive delivery of services for older people.
  • An excellent team of trained, caring and trusting people delivering our services.
  • A fleet of vans to deliver services and support to all our members.
  • A disability Access Vehicle and Bus to transport members to and from the centre.

​We have extended our delivery services.
We accept payment by card in the Centre and over the phone.
We deliver a hot meal and a dessert for just €8 per meal! Meals are delivered daily, Monday to Friday. You can order extra meals are for weekends and bank holidays. Meals can be delivered for any number of days per week and you can choose any combination of days that is convenient for you. 

We deliver meals to a wide geographical area that includes; Dungarvan, Abbeyside, Ballymacarbry, Touraneena, Kilbrien, Coolnasmear, Kilgobinet, An Rinn, Old Parish, Ardmore, Clashmore and Aglish. Our meal delivery team gets to know our service users and family members gain peace of mind from knowing that someone is checking on their loved ones. If the delivery team notes any cause for concern they report to the Centre, who will then notify family members and the emergency services as required.

A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate any food intolerance or specific dietary requirements when preparing meals.

Activities and Entertainment
Within our centre there are many daily activities and services provided to keep our members active and engaged. Listed below are the scheduled weekly activities but other activities are on going including Story Telling, Prayer group, Painting, Competitions, Information Talks and lots of chat!
We also organise special day trips throughout the year to a variety of destinations that include transport, meals and entertainment.
